🧠 Memory Verse

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation…”
🎯 Lesson Focus
To understand that grace, peace, salvation, and life are results of the Kingdom, not replacements for it.
📘 Teaching Section
The New Testament describes the gospel using many expressions:
- The gospel of grace
- The gospel of peace
- The gospel of salvation
- The gospel of life
These descriptions are true and biblical, but they describe what the Kingdom produces, not a different message.
Grace flows from God’s reign restored.
Peace exists because rebellion has ended.
Salvation occurs when a person is transferred from the power of darkness into God’s Kingdom.
Life is imparted because the King Himself is life.
They are all good news of the Kingdom of God.
⚠️ When the Kingdom Is Removed from the Message
The problem arises when these benefits are preached without the Kingdom that produces them.
Over time, the Church emphasized the blessings of the Kingdom while neglecting the King Himself. We preached:
- Salvation without submission
- Grace without government
- Peace without repentance
- Life without obedience
The result is a weakened witness and a powerless gospel.
Yet Scripture remains clear:
- When the Kingdom is preached, everything else follows
- When the King is announced, grace, peace, salvation, and life arrive with Him
The call of our time is not to invent a new message, but to return to the message Jesus preached.
🔔 The Gospel Demands Response
Jesus did not only announce the gospel; He called people to respond.
Jesus said:
“Repent and believe the gospel.”
Peter said:
“Repent… be baptized… receive the Holy Spirit.”
(Acts 2:38)
Everywhere the gospel is preached, there is a call to:
- Turn
- Believe
- Submit
- Obey
- Follow

The gospel is a divine summons — God calling all people to enter His Kingdom and come under His King.
👑 The Gospel Points to a Person, Not a System
Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father except through Me.”
(John 14:6)
Receiving the gospel is therefore receiving Christ Himself (John 1:12–13).
Christianity is not first about doctrines or institutions; it is about union with the living Son of God.
